WHAT IS SCULPTRA?

Losing facial volume can happen due to aging or illness. Nurse practitioner Shea Nielsen uses Sculptra, a poly-L-lactic acid injectable dermal filler to address this problem. The nonsurgical cosmetic treatment prompts the natural collagen production in your body to restore fullness to deep wrinkles and lines, including the smile or laugh lines that go from the sides of the nose to the corners of the lips. With a unique gel formula approved by the FDA, Sculptra provides you with a softer, younger-looking appearance. Schedule an appointment at Revival Aesthetics and Wellness in Spanish Fork, UT to learn more about the long-lasting results of this treatment.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM SCULPTRA

During your first Sculptra treatment, we will cleanse the area and apply a topical anesthetic to help with any discomfort. The dermal filler will be injected through a fine needle on your skin. Following your treatment, you may have mild or moderate swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness that should subside naturally in a few days. To encourage healing, you can apply cold packs to the treated areas. You should limit sun exposure as much as possible and use sunscreen. Many patients will see improvements immediately following their injections with maximum results appearing after a few weeks that can last for as long as two years.
